Workplace and growth

By being deeply involved in the work they are responsible for, the system allows them to acquire not just superficial knowledge but also specialized skills and knowledge through practice.
Through this, we aim to help each individual grow into a person who can "think, judge, and act independently."
We also place importance on teamwork and have a system in place to provide solid support in emergencies. By creating an environment where employees can work with peace of mind, it is also easy to take time off. We have achieved both a comfortable work environment and growth, and are expanding the opportunities for each employee to thrive.

Area management system and course selection system
About the introduction

Sotetsu Hotel Management has introduced the "Area Management System" and "Course Selection System." These are initiatives aimed at helping each employee grow autonomously and acquire the ability to respond flexibly even in times of great change.

The area management system aims to optimize operations and standardize operations by shifting from the traditional store-based management system to area-based management. By having a system that oversees multiple stores across the board, you will naturally be required to have the ability to make decisions and respond while keeping a bird's-eye view of the whole.

In this way, employees are deeply involved in specific tasks and acquire essential skills and expertise through practice, rather than merely acquiring superficial knowledge. As a result, we believe that employees will be able to acquire the ability to think and act in a variety of situations, not just in hotel work.

Meanwhile, we are currently developing a system for course selection that allows employees to choose how they work based on their aspirations and career vision. By providing a variety of career paths, we will create an environment where employees can grow in their own way over the long term, which will lead to the revitalization of the entire organization.

Both systems are part of a "people-centered organizational strategy" that links employee growth to corporate growth, and will serve as an important foundation for improving corporate value in the future.
