Front desk staff/area employees (contract employees)

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because the stable brand name Sotetsu was a good fit for me, and I felt I could work here with peace of mind in the future. I have been working in the hotel industry for about 10 years, and I feel that this hotel is the right fit for me.
Also, when setting up work shifts, I feel like they take the employees' circumstances into consideration. In fact, I feel like there are a lot of students, people aiming to work in the theater industry, and housewives with children. This is the first time I've worked in a workplace with such a wide variety of people.

The company has a very open atmosphere. The front desk and other tasks are mainly handled by partner employees, but we can freely express our opinions and ideas, such as "I want to try this," and even those in higher positions can treat us without feeling any barriers. I also worked at Sunroute Ariake, which had 790 rooms at the time. Fresa now has about 200 rooms, but I think, "Since the number of rooms has decreased, we may be able to do something different from before, such as improving customer service and work efficiency, and try to do things that we couldn't do before." I also read reviews, and try to respond in a way that is sympathetic to the customer's feelings.

Previously, a customer fell ill in the middle of the night and we arranged for an ambulance. We were able to calmly do what we could, and when the customer returned to the hotel and thanked us, saying, "Thank you, you saved us," we were filled with a sense of relief and joy. I believe that "peace of mind and safety" are the foundation of a hotel.
I am in charge of customer service, so I want to create something that cannot be experienced at other hotels. The hotel where I work now is also introducing check-in machines, so I am thinking about how to use them to improve customer service. When I set a goal and try to get closer to it, I aim for the next goal...I want to further improve my response and action capabilities.
Our work requires flexible response while following the rules, so I would like to work with positive people who can respond to customers in a way that suits them. I think that people who say "Let's try it first!" are suitable for the workplace. You won't get an answer unless you try, and no one will blame you if you fail. You just need to think about what went wrong and move on to the next step. I think it's fun to work with people who take on challenges in a positive way.
We would like to introduce the staff of Sotetsu Hotel Management.
